At War Bouviers, our mission is simple, we strive to breed the finest Bouvier des Flandres possible. We breed to the AKC standard and strive for the “ideal”. We do not breed overly large dogs nor do we breed washed out colors.

Over the last 16 years , we have bred many fine companion dogs that have lived long and healthy lives into their teens, as well as, many AKC Champions. We’ve bred several Champion dogs that have been invited to compete at the Westminster Kennel Club and the AKC Eukanuba Classic, winning Award of Merits in conformation and honors in Agility. Only the Top 5 dogs ranked in each breed are invited to the Westminster Kennel Club. I’m proud to say that my foundation stud dog, Dutch and his son, Thunder, and his son Ivan were invited to this elite dog show. Dutch, Thunder and his son Zentory all received Awards of Merit for conformation excellence. Ch War Invincible Sky Dancer was invited to the AKC Agility Invitational in 2007/2008/2009 for his top 5 ranked agility achievements and Ch War Ever Radiant Fire in the Sky was an ABdFC 2009 Top Twenty Performance Invitee.

All of our puppies are hand raised from birth. We employ a rigorous method of socialization for all of our puppies. Each dog and prospective owner undergoes a complete screening process to assure a proper match between dog and owner to see that they go to the appropriate home, based upon their individual temperament/personality and the prospective owner’s lifestyle, skill level and expectations. Companion/pet dogs are sold on a limited registration basis pending proof of sterilization. Puppies are docked and cropped unless an application requests natural. We occasionally have young adults available.

We are located on 400 acres in  the rolling hills of northeastern Oklahoma, just west of Tulsa, with easy access to our facilities via I35, 75 or via the Tulsa International Airport.  In addition, there are two general aviation airports conveniently located nearby.  Come see the difference careful attention to detail from breeding and matching dogs with new owners can make.  Our kennel name may be called War Bouviers, but for us it’s a love affair between our wonderful breed the Bouvier des Flandres and their amazing owners, many of whom are repeat War Bouvier clients.
